A triangular shaped nest box with a shelf at the front near the entrance hole allowing the owl to land before entering the box and the young somewhere to venture outside before leaving the box.

The box are made of 9mm exterior ply wood and come with a wooded fixing bracket and full instruction on how to fix and where to site the box.

Boxes are available in 4 colours Dark Brown,

Forest Green, Golden Brown and Red Cedar.

The Barn Owls do not mind what colour but The choice allows the box to blend in with the Background.

The box should be sited at least 3M above the ground and should not be placed in a sun trap as the young become overheated easily. A Barn Owl box needs to face open countryside as the Barn Owl will often hunt from the perch on the top of the box which is made of astro turf. Their favourite food is short tailed voles.
