Chocolate is a female Harris Hawk she was given to us by the Police She is a very gentle bird who loves exercising in our flying field.. The female Harris Hawk is approx 1/3 larger than the male as with most birds of prey they come from southern parts of USA and South America. They are often the first bird that a falconer learns with as they are a steady bird often called the Labrador of the bird world unlike most birds of prey they can fly and hunt as a small group.
