The box is a triangular shape, the shelf in front of the entrance hole allows the barn owl to land and eat.

An access hole is provided for cleaning. It also has a perch on top for the owl to hunt from. 

The box is made of 9mm exterior plywood, the roof is felted and there is a astro turf perch on the apex.

The boxes are painted with a water based wood preservative on the outside only
